A World Outside is a prison movie, foxsports but not as we know them. uh yeah, that's the one I recommend, it is one of my absolute favorite! No horror-like or supernatural about it, just pure storytelling at a high level. It's actually not a standalone novel, but part of the four stories in the publication 'Different Seasons' (in Danish can find it released as 'a world outside').
Film and book fits actually foxsports really excellent together. For me, the book will always have some extra layers, but the film has captured the mood extremely well. Is confident in the love story, if you like the movie!
