Gossip, then it was December! Here, we still have no snow, in the mountains, but I hear there is snow in Denmark - so cheating. The last week has been super busy, and I've really discovered that I have some great friends over here! Monday was not the greatest, other than Anna (one of my good friends + exchange student from Norway) came and watched a movie in the evening. Tuesday we had a blood drive at the school where you could write up to donate blood instead of having an hour. And I had such a bit random about me, because the man said I could always think about it and come if I wanted to. And although I initially had no'd do it, I thought about it some time and then ended up wanting to do it so I could "face my fear" (or something like that, and of course help some sick people. om So I went there in the morning, and I was super clear. First I had to answer a lot of questions about my health and how I had been more. And just the questions they said that unfortunately om I was not allowed to donate blood because I have lived 5 years or more in Europe. Which means that my blood is not American, and can have dangerous, European diseases! nurse I spoke to also think it was ridiculous, but they had to follow the rules. But yes, at least I tried. After the slight disappointment we were in the middle of the 2nd period and we would not really go back to only half a class, so me and my friend, Brendan drove on a little trip to downtown and got donuts and hot cocoa. Tuesday was also first day we had my badminton club that was not super lot, but it was also the first time so it will definitely come. We play every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch, because that is the only time the hall is free. Wednesday and Thursday om I went with my host family to Portland, Oregon, we stayed at a really nice hotel and we went to a women's football match between Ireland and the United States, and we won, of course, om with the whole 5-0. After the game, all the players around and signed om autographs it was super cool. following day we went to a lot of outlet stores and shopped. And we went to Voodoo Doughnuts, which is a known place donuts in Portland.
Bacon donut, peanut butter / Oreo donut and Oreo donut (mine, hehe) Woodburn outlet center! Had everything - Nike, Forever 21, Adidas, Charlotte Russe, om Tommy Hilfiger, etc. Me, Amber and Ali in the outlet center Thursday night we had our soccer end-of-season things. First held our coach a speech, and then we were all called up and got our diplomas. After it kept our captains om a speech where they gave gifts for coaches and helpers. And I was called up again because they had made me a picture of all the girls with their names that I can take home as a memento. We also had a powerpoint show with photos from throughout the season, and all the seniors had their own powerpoint show with pictures from when we were little to now. It was so fun to watch, and I had not seen my picture before, but they were actually quite nice. Thanks, Mom!
Friday took me and Anna at Subway after school and in the evening I went to school and saw the girls play basketball. And then took me and Anna home and watching movies again, again. Haha. On Saturday night I had a Channing Tatum movie night with 5 other girls and we saw a lot of Channing Tatum movies and enjoyed a lot. Next movie night we have already talked about would be Zac Efron. Today, Sunday, we went to my uncle and aunt's house and baked Christmas cookies all day. Did not made any Danish at all, but we agreed to continue next weekend, so I think it gets to some peanuts there. Hugs from here, hope you all are doing well!
