The much awaited police tinthethao and medical report about what exactly happened to Emmanuel tinthethao Mayanja popularly known as AK47 was released yesterday the same day he was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Mityana. According to the police report obtained by Red Pepper, it reveals that at around 11pm on March 16 2015 the Divisional Police Commander of Kabalagala police station Francis Chemsto received information of the sudden death of Emmanuel Mayanja which had occurred at 10 pm at Nsyambya hospital.
The report intimates that before Mayanja s death, he was at a local pub called Dejavu tinthethao located along Kampala Ggaba road in Kansanga tinthethao and was seen seated on a round table with friends including Diamond Oscar, Pallaso his elder brother, Jeff Kiwa, DJ Bobby and Allan Kiwa.
A team of police detectives from Kabalagala police station led by CIID boss Nusura Kemigisha later cordoned off Dejavu tinthethao bar and RMS Gym fitness, Sauna and steam bath where the deceased had been for fitness exercises.
The report further shows that members of Team No Sleep that the deceased tinthethao belonged to were all present on the fateful day and were all seen having good moments while smoking weed, sharing music and there was no quarrel or fracas at all.
According to the post-mortem report by Mulago hospital carried out at City Mortuary by Dr. Moses Byarugaba ,it was established that the his body was well nourished, had hemorrhagic froth on the nose, swollen back of the head and with a fractured skull extending from the right posterior cranial.
However, body samples including parts of the liver and Kidney have been removed and taken to the Government Analytical tinthethao Laboratory for further toxicological tests to establish the drug and alcohol levels in his body.
